Back-to-back winless seasons have left the Tremont football program in shambles, but first-year coach Joe Hageman is hoping to build confidence in his kids this season.
The Turks haven't won a game since they went 2-7 in 2022. Despite the struggles, Coach Hageman says it isn't slowing down the motivation of his players.
Despite the struggles, Coach Hageman believes his team is poised for a positive step forward this season. He says numbers remain good and the cupboard is certainly not void of talent.
Last year's season was largely uncompetitive for the Turks, with few games within even two or three touchdowns. Coach Hageman believes this season could have a lot of confidence-building in just being competitive.
Tremont will open the season taking on GCMS on Aug. 29.
