HS FBall: Maroa-Forsyth Poised for Another Big Year

Bringing back a quarterback and most of your offensive line from the year before will make any high school football coach excited - but bringing it back from a state runner-up team will make for big expectations.

Maroa-Forsyth Football Coach Josh Jostes is also excited because he is bringing back an entire defense with multiple starters from last year.

The Trojans' offensive line should size between 200-225 pounds. While not annually a big team up front, Coach Jostes doesn't mind that because he wants his front line to be good athletes for his notorious screen game.

Maroa-Forsyth will look for those mismatches on offense and defensively, while experienced, Coach Jostes notes there are some spots they start the year a little thin.

Coach Jostes anticipates the Sangamo to be another formidable conference this year.

The Trojans host Athens to start the season next Friday.
