The Clinton Maroons travel to Warrensburg-Latham for week two Central Illinois Conference high school football action. 

Last week, Clinton suffered a 42-6 home-opening loss to Central A&M. Head Coach Ron Bass felt he struggled as much as his offense, noting he needs to do a better job of giving his quarterback opportunities to make plays and find a rhythm.

Coach Bass says they are still doing a lot of teaching during practice and hopes going up against Warrensburg-Latham on Friday will be a good opportunity for his team to put one in the win column.

The Maroons will go on the road for the first time this season, and Coach Bass says you never know how a young team will react to playing on the road until it happens. 

Clinton and Warrensburg-Latham both enter play 0-1. Kickoff is at 7 PM. Hear tonight's action on WHOW and its digital platforms.
