The Clinton High School boys' golf team is the Central Illinois Conference champions for a third straight year.
The CIC meet was on Monday at Moweaqua. The boys scored a 308, a record low for the Conference.
They were led by junior Grady Douglas, who shot a 74 and placed second, followed by junior Griffin Utterback, who carded a 77 - good for third. Freshman Evan Newberg shot a 78 and placed fourth, while junior Briley Carter had a 79 and placed fifth.
Senior Ryan Pine shot an 80 while Carter Cothern shot an 87.
On the girls' side, Mills finished with an 88, the low round on the girls' side. Senior Riley Fentress carded a 90, which was good for second place.
The girls begin the postseason next Tuesday, when they travel to Lincolnshire Country Club in Champaign.
The boys return to Moweaqua for their Regional play on Wednesday, October 1.
