The high school golf postseason continues today when high school boys' and girls' teams head to Sectionals.

Clinton and Monticello High School girls will be participating in the 1A Sectional in Champaign at the Savoy Orange and Blue Course. Monticello is the host of this year's Sectional, and Coach Andrew Turner says his team is playing well going into this week's action in Savoy.

The Lady Sages are led by a sophomore this season - who Coach Turner admits has surprised him somewhat. But his team also has some experienced seniors who push each other.

According to Coach Turner, they are the hosts of this Sectional, and one of the reasons they chose to host was even back in the spring, they were confident then they had a team that could make the Sectional and be among the three with a chance to go to State.

On the boys' side, Clinton and Monticello boys will be in the Class 2A Sectional in Jacksonville. Keep it to the Hart Media Group and ILSportsWire for all the highlights and coverage of today's golf action.
