HS FBall: Shelbyville Routs Clinton

In a game heard on WHOW, Josh Bass and Keaton Graves connected for an explosive 81-yard touchdown in the 4th, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Shelbyville Rams, and the Maroons fell by a final score of 42-6 at Shelbyville on Friday night. 

 

The Maroons were led by Josh Bass, who put up 148 passing yards, 26 rushing yards, and threw a touchdown. Keaton Graves received that touchdown and ran it in to complete the 81-yard play; he had 181 yards of total offense. Jaxon Reynolds added 31 receiving yards. 

 

Shelbyville was led by RB Jaden Meister, who ran for 220 yards and scored three touchdowns. Will Glick added two touchdowns and 52 rushing yards. Dax Metzger scored a 39-yard touchdown on his only carry. 

 

With the loss, Clinton falls to 0-7 while Shelbyville improves to 5-2 and becomes playoff eligible.
