Dee-Mack had a couple of very good wins at the back end of its schedule this year and the Indians are hoping that surge will be the catalyst to making some noise when the high school football playoffs begin this weekend.
Dee-Mack football Coach Cody Myers credits his team for a solid win at Ridgeview in a tough environment. Not only did his team win over a state-ranked team, but they had to come back to do it.
Coach Myers has enjoyed his team this year and feels their strength on the field has been their defense, but off the field, they are learning to just worry about the things they can control and focus on getting better each week.
Staying in the moment in enjoying the process that is the football regular season has been enjoyable for Coach Myers.
Dee-Mack will travel to Chicago Crane for a Saturday afternoon game starting at 4:30 pm.
