The Clinton boys cross country team won Regionals for the second time in as many years, and the girls team also qualified to advance to Saturday's Sectional run.

Coach Rachel Anderson-Lyons told the Hart Media Group the boys' team has been the headliner this year, with a young group of sophomores leading the way.

While the boys have had a lot of success this season, Coach Anderson-Lyons indicates the girls have turned some heads. She says they, too, have a lot of depth.

The runners will now head to Sectionals on Saturday. Coach Anderson-Lyons calls the Sectional loaded, and it will be a tall order for the girls to advance. The Sectional is Saturday in Elmwood.
