Maroa-Forsyth is getting healthy at the right time, and Coach Josh Jostes hopes that, in addition to a healthy dose of adversity, it is going to pay off as the high school football playoffs begin this weekend.
The Trojans were hit with the injury bug this season, and Coach Jostes says that created some tough challenges for his team this fall.
Maroa-Forsyth's offense has been the strength of the team this year. Coach Jostes indicates they returned several members of that unit that went to the State Championship last season.
Getting ready for postseason play, Coach Jostes says his team is getting healthier, and because they'll be on the road in week one, they will need to tap into their experience.
Coach Jostes hopes his team can rely on their experience from last season as they hit the road on Saturday to take on Chester in the first round of the 2A playoffs. Game time is 1 pm on Saturday.
