HS FBall: GCMS Stout Schedule Paying Dividends as Football Playoffs Await

Some solid wins and excellent play down the stretch have GCMS believing it can make some noise when the high school football playoffs get underway this weekend.

GCMS Head Coach Chad Augspurger was pleased with his team's poise on the road, particularly in a 55-27 win over Ridgeview-Lexington in week nine.

The Falcons feature a stout run game and a defense that has been tough all season. Coach Augspurger notes it's different guys on both sides of the ball.

Coach Augspurger indicates it took a little bit for his team to get their run game going but he feels they are in a good place getting ready for the playoffs this weekend.

The Falcons will host Ottawa Marquette on Saturday at 1 pm.
