The Clinton Lady Maroons are having a slow start to the season, after a tough 65-64 loss to the Eureka Lady Hornets on Tuesday night in Eureka.
The Lady Maroons were led by Carly Anderson, who posted 20 points, complemented by Clara Dempsey's 17. Avery Smith added 11 points. Lilah Cluver, Averie Fatheree, and Ozzie Goar scored 6, 7, and 3, respectively.
Eureka was led by Mya Edwards, who scored 21 points, while Ivy Edwards put up 14. Skylar Knapp had 8.
With the loss, Clinton falls to 0-2 while the Lady Hornets improve to 2-0.
