The Argenta-Oreana Bombers bounced back from their season-opening loss in the Cerro Gordo Tournament and beat the Heritage Hawks by a final score of 60-55 on Tuesday night in non-conference high school boys basketball action.
Heritage put up 20 points in the fourth quarter to A-O's 13, but it wasn't enough to overcome the 47-36 lead that the Bombers had built up in the previous three quarters.
Argenta-Oreana was led by Jaxon Finch, who scored 21 points and made two from beyond the arc. Carter Logue had 14 points and also made two threes. Isaiah Parks added 10.
Heritage was led by Brayden Jones, who put up 18 points. James Dillon had 16 points.
With the win, A-O improves to 1-1 while Heritage falls to 0-1.
The Bombers will host Leroy on Tuesday at 7:30 PM.
