The Clinton Lady Maroons held the Tolono Unity Lady Rockets to 11 points over the final three quarters, and won 64-24 in non-conference high school girls basketball action Wednesday night in Tolono. 

The Lady Maroons dominated the offensive side of the ball, with the biggest scoring difference coming in the third quarter. Clinton scored 18 points to the Lady Rockets' 2. 

Clinton was led by Clara Dempsey, who led all scorers with 21 points and made two from beyond the arc. Carly Anderson added 16 points while Avery Smith put up 11. 

Tolono Unity was led by Claire Meharry, Grace Bickers, and Olivia Hall, who put up four points apiece. 

With the win, Clinton improves to 3-2 while Tolono Unity falls to 2-5. 

The Lady Maroons will take on the Argenta-Oreana Lady Bombers tonight in the second half of a back-to-back outing for Clinton. Tip-off is at 6:00 PM at Clinton High School.
