Three players scored in double-figures, and Monticello pulled away from Arcola for a 73-21 win in non-conference high school girls basketball action Saturday morning in Arcola.

Ali Weidner led the Lady Sages with 17 points. Sara Cresap added 14 points, and Annie Robinson scored 13 points. 

The Lady Sages finished 12-of-14 at the foul line. Emma Arnold and Kiara Grace each grabbed six rebounds.

Monticell jumped out to a 25-8 lead after the first quarter and built it up to a 43-14 lead at the half. 

Monticello improves to 4-3 overall. They will host Mt. Zion on Wednesday.
