HS GBBBall: Dee-Mack Holds Off Clinton

Dee-Mack held off a late Clinton comeback for a 61-58 win in non-conference high school girls basketball action at Clinton High School on Saturday.

It was a back-and-forth match-up all afternoon. The Lady Indians jumped out to a 15-12 lead after the first quarter and led 27-22 at the intermission.

But the Lady Maroons battled back in the fourth quarter, trailing 45-36 after three quarters, outscoring Dee-Mack 22-16 in the fourth, but the rally fell short.

Carly Anderson and Clara Dempsey each scored 17 points to lead Clinton. Avery Smith scored ten points.

Dee-Mack improves to 5-0 overall. Clinton drops to 4-3 overall.

The Lady Maroons travel to Tri-Valley on Monday.
