A local high school basketball legend has achieved a career milestone that few others have. 

Clinton Maroons Basketball Coach Vic Binkley reached the 800 career win mark on Wednesday night as they beat Riverton 59-36. He says the win wasn't a guarantee, but his team fought hard to help him achieve the historic milestone. 

Binkley indicates that the key to his success has been surrounding himself with good coaches and instilling a mindset of hard work in his athletes. He notes that it is his love for the sport that keeps him going. 

Coach Binkley explains that as he gets older, he may have to rely more on his fellow, younger coaches when it comes to relating to his players; however, he has no plans on retiring any time soon. 

Binkley is grateful for all the students, staff, and community members who have supported him throughout his career, not only in Clinton but in his previous schools as well.
