Carly Anderson had a career-high 40 points, and Clinton toppled GCMS 70-46 on the first day of the Monticello Holiday Hoopla from Monticello High School on Friday afternoon.

Clara Dempsey scored 14 points, Avery Smith chipped in with 11 points, and Lila Cluver finished with ten points - as Clinton had four scorers in double figures.

The Lady Falcons played with the Lady Maroons early, with Clinton holding a 21-19 advantage, but it was all Clinton the rest of the way as they outscored GCMS 49-27 the rest of the way.

Clinton is 9-4 overall. GCMS drops to 7-4.

The Lady Maroons continue pool play from the Holiday Hoopla tomorrow when they battle Ridgeview at 10 am and then Warrensburg-Latham at 6 pm.
