Monticello used a balanced scoring attack and came away with a 53-34 win over Tuscola Friday evening from the Monticello Holiday Hoopla at Moore Gym.

Ali Weidner led Monticello with 11 points. Madi Melton chipped in with ten points, and Annie Robinson - off a career-high earlier in the day - finished with nine points. 

Emma Arnold scored eight for the Lady Sages, and Sara Cresap added seven points. 

Reese Davis led the Lady Warriors with 17 points.

Tuscola falls to 4-9 overall.

Monticello improves to 10-3. The Lady Sages wrap up Holiday Hoopla pool play on Saturday against Tri-Valley.
