A big second half from Clinton allowed the Lady Maroons to rally to a 64-49 win Monday night and take home its first Holiday Hoopla championship from the Sievers Center in Monticello.
The Lady Maroons trailed 28-23 at the half but outscored the Lady Vikings 20-12 in the third, then 22-9 in the fourth quarter.
Carly Anderson was a rebound shy of a double-double for Clinton, finishing with a game-best 22 points and nine rebounds. Clara Dempsey scored 19 points while Avery Smith added 14 points and six rebounds.
Lilah Cluver scored seven points and had eight rebounds for Clinton.
Three players scored in double figures for Tri-Valley. Addy Freihaut finished with a double-double, scoring14 points and grabbing 15 rebounds.
Kaylee Magenheimer had 12 points, and Ella Black finished with ten points.
The Lady Maroons are 12-4 on the season. Tri-Valley drops to 12-2 overall.
