In a game heard on WEZC and online at dewittdailynews.com, Teutopolis flexed its muscle and toppled Monticello 71-49 in non-conference high school boys' basketball action Tuesday night in T-Town.
The Wooden Shoes finished the first quarter on a 16-3 run and never looked back, fueled by sharp three-point shooting and suffocating defense.
Matthias Rudolph paced Monticello with 12 points. Aiden McCool added nine points.
McCool was the State Bank of Bement player of the game.
T-Town goes to 13-2 overall.
