Jett Karrick scored 17 of his game-best 27 points in the second half, and Petersburg-PORTA-AC Central rolled Maroa-Forsyth 68-51 Friday in Sangamo Conference high school boys' basketball action from Maroa.

The Blue Jays led 33-25 at the break. Karrick scored 11 fourth-quarter points, helping PORTA hold off a Trojans third-quarter comeback. 

Three players scored in double figures for Maroa-Forsyth. Caebrin Lee had 16 points to lead the way. Coby Lane added 14 points while Kenny Morris finished with 12 points.

Maroa-Forsyth goes to 12-6 overall and 1-1 in the Sangamo Conference. They travel to Tolono Unity this afternoon.
