Clinton made quick, easy work of Serena in a 51-22 rout of the Lady Irish from the Seneca Shootout on Saturday afternoon in non-conference high school girls basketball action.

The Lady Maroons pushed an 18-6 first quarter advantage to 32-14 by the half, and only increased it the rest of the way.

Three players scored in double figures for Clinton, led by Carly Anderson's 16 points. Avery Smith scored 14 points while Clara Dempsey added 12 points.

The Lady Maroons are 23-4 overall. After winning the Central Illinois Conference tournament last week, Clinton resumes CIC regular-season action, hosting Central A&M on Thursday.
