Pontiac started fast and never looked back in a 58-43 win over Monticello on Tuesday night from Pontiac High School in Illini Prairie Conference high school girls basketball action.

Sara Cresap was the only Monticello player to reach double figures with 12 points.

The Lady Indians led 14-8 after the first quarter, stretching it to a 28-20 lead at the break, and came out on fire in the third quarter, going up 47-32 after three quarters.

The Lady Sages drop to 15-13 overall and 2-4 in the Illini Prairie Conference. They will host Bloomington Central Catholic on Thursday.
