Champaign St. Thomas More scored 31 first quarter points and never looked back in rolling to a 79-57 win in Class 1A Regional quarterfinal action in Champaign.

Owen Yaeger scored 23 points to lead all scorers for the Sabers, who led 31-12 after one quarter.

Ben Ruffatto had 15 points, and Raphael Dongo-Kengue added 12 points. 

Jaxon Finch and Isaiah Parks had 15 points apiece. Carter Logue added eight points. 

The Bombers end the campaign at 9-22 overall. STM improves to 12-16 overall.
