Grant Kiger hit his second home run of the season among four extra base hits for Monticello in an 11-0 over Anna-Jonesborough on Friday afternoon in non-conference high school baseball.

Kiger's homer put the Sages up 7-0 in the second inning.

Dawson Gaitros was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI at the top of the order. Cole Basak was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Jake Motsegood had a double and an RBI while Colton Shubert added a double, finishing 2-for-3.

Heyden Romano, Jake Robinson, and Koyie Williams drove in runs for the Sages. 

Basak fired two innings of shutout ball with three strikeouts and permitted just one hit and one walk. Forrest Rawdin went three innings of shutout ball with five strikeouts. The junior allowed two hits and a walk.

Monticello takes on Murphysboro on Saturday.
