PORTA-AC Central scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and rallied past Maroa-Forsyth 6-5 in Sangamo Conference high school baseball on Tuesday in Petersburg.
The Trojans trailed 3-2 going to the fifth inning but rallied with three runs to go in from 5-3.
The Blue Jays answered an inning later to hold off Maroa-Forsyth in each team's Sangamo Conference opener.
Camden Trendler was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Colby Lane, Ace Giles, Gunner Larner and Kayden Blunck each drove in a run for Maroa-Forsyth.
The Trojans drop to 5-3-1 overall and 0-1 in the Sangamo. They'll host Athens on Thursday.
