HS Baseball: Mt. Pulaski Holds Off ALAH

Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond committed four errors, and Mt. Pulaski took advantage as the Hilltoppers held off the Knights for a 6-4 win in non-conference high school baseball action on Tuesday in Mt. Pulaski.

Hilltoppers batters were credited with just three RBIs. Preston Cowan led the way, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Luke Martin had the other. Mt. Pulaski did not have an extra base hit in the contest.

Carter Clark earned the win for Mt. Pulaski, firing three innings of shutout ball with four strikeouts, a walk, and allowing just one hit. Chase Roberts allowed two unearned runs and struck out four in two innings of work.

The Hilltoppers go to 4-2 overall. They will host Delavan on Thursday to open Tomahawk Conference play.
