Monticello jumped out early on Bismarck-Henning and rolled to an 8-1 win in non-conference high school baseball action on Tuesday in Bismarck.

Koyie Williams doubled in two runs in the top of the first inning to put the Sages in front 2-0.

A Cole Basak RBI double in the second highlighted a four-run frame to put Monticello ahead 6-0.

Three Sages pitchers combined to limit the Blue Devils to six hits in the game.

Basak led the Sages offensively, going 4-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Dawson Gaitros was 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
