Brooklynn Burton drove in five runs and Warrensburg-Latham powered past Cerro Gordo-Bement 10-0 in five innings in a run-rule win in non-conference high school softball action on Wednesday in Cerro Gordo.

Burton was 2-for-4 with a triple. Emelia Coble was 1-for-2 with a triple, a run driven in, and walked twice at the top of the Lady Cardinals order.

Ellaina Park was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Warrensburg-Latham. 

Megan Hardin struck out four in five shutout innings. She allowed just two hits and walked two. 

Warrensburg-Latham goes to 7-6 overall. They will travel to Meridian on Thursday.
