Braxton Denning and Tate Crow each drove in three runs, leading Heyworth to a 13-3 win over LeRoy in Heart of Illinois high school baseball action on Wednesday in Heyworth.
The Hornets used a six-run fourth inning to get out to a ten-run lead and win in five innings by run-rule.
Crow hit a bases-clearing double to put Heyworth in front 13-3.
Boston Katz hit a solo home run and scored four times for the Hornets. Denning was 1-for-3 with a double as Heyworth took advantage of three Panthers errors.
Jackson Law was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Ridge Braden was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Caleb Zellers added a double for Heyworth.
Heyworth is 3-4-1 overall and 1-1 in the Heart of Illinois Conference. They host Tremont Friday in Heart of Illinois action.
