Williamsville outscored Clinton 8-2 late and rallied to a 12-8 win in non-conference high school baseball action on Wednesday at Evans Field in Clinton.
The Maroons led 6-4 entering the fifth inning, but Williamsville scored the next eight runs to go up 12-4, before Clinton got two back in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Brock Wilson was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs to lead the Maroons. Josh Bass drove in two and finished 1-for-3. Brady Stauffer and Stone Stith each had two hits. Stith added an RBI.
Clinton drops to 8-4 overall. They resume Central Illinois Conference play on Thursday, hosting Tuscola.
