Owen Comstock drove in three runs, and Lincoln took down Springfield Lanphier 9-1 in Central State Eight Conference high school baseball action on Wednesday in Lincoln.
Comstock was 3-for-5 with a double and three runs batted in. Tate Aue was 2-for-4 for the Railsplitters. Austin Lucas and Cooper Koehler each hit doubles.
Three Lincoln pitchers combined to limit Lions hitters to a run on three hits. Aue struck out three in three innings of shutout ball. Karson Komnick earned the win with three innings of one-run ball, and Brett Hayes struck out three in a scoreless inning of relief.
The Railsplitters improve to 7-5 overall and 2-3 in the CS8. They visit Limestone on Friday.
