Braydon Laesch struck out 14 across six shutout innings, leading Heyworth to a 10-0 win over Delavan in non-conference high school baseball action on Thursday in Heyworth. 

Laesch allowed three hits, hit two batters, and did not issue a walk in the win. He also finished 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. 

Lucas Bartels and Jeffrey Klawitter drove in two runs apiece for the Hornets. 

Bartels and Carter Brooks hit triples while Braxton Denning added a double.

Heyworth is 7-10-2 overall. They host Fieldcrest in Heart of Illinois Conference action on Friday.
