Lincoln overcame an 8-0 deficit and beat Bloomington 11-8 in non-conference high school baseball action from Lincoln on Thursday.
The Purple Raiders looked to be rolling after a seven-run second inning to go up 8-0, but the Railers chipped away.
Ashton Lucas scored two with a single in the bottom of the second inning to cut the Bloomington lead to 8-3.
Karson Komnick, Lucas, and Gage Rutledge hit back-to-back-to-back run-scoring singles in the bottom of the third inning to tie the game at 8-8.
Rutledge hit a sac-fly in the fifth inning to put the Railsplitters in front 9-8. Komnick added a two-run single in the sixth to make it the final 11-8 margin.
Lucas was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a stolen base to lead Lincoln. Komnick was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.
Lincoln goes to 14-7 overall. They host Metamora on Friday.
