Mt. Pulaski jumped out big early and never looked back as they routed Buffalo Tri-City 12-2 in a five-inning, run-rule win on Monday in non-conference high school baseball action in Mt. Pulaski.
Tyler Cross drove in a team-best three runs. Luke Martin drove in a pair of runs with a double. Keoni Charron had two RBIs and added a double for the Hilltoppers.
Mt. Pulaski overcame seven errors in the win.
Preston Cowan struck out four in five innings of two-run ball; both runs were unearned.
Mt. Pulaski is 16-8 overall. They travel to Havana on Wednesday.
