Ryan Pine went deep, and Josh Bass drove in five runs as Clinton scored 17 runs in the seventh inning to blow by Central A&M 22-1 in Central Illinois Conference play from Moweaqua on Monday.
Pine drove in a game-best six runs and finished 4-for-4 - a triple shy of the cycle. Bass was 2-for-4 with a double and five RBIs.
Stone Stith had a double and drove in two. Jack Manning tripled and drove in two runs as well. Mitchell Cornwell and Xavier Reynolds had two RBIs for the Maroons.
Pine struck out four in three innings of shutout ball. Cornwell struck out six in three scoreless innings.
