PORTA-AC Central scored the final five runs of the game and rallied past Mt. Pulaski 6-2 in high school baseball action on Tuesday in Petersburg.

The Blue Jays fell behind 2-1 when Aaron Volle tied the game with a sac-fly in the third inning, and Luke Martin scored on a passed ball. 

But PORTA-AC Central tied the game in the bottom half of the third and scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth to go in front for good.

The Hilltoppers managed just one hit in the defeat. They drew six walks and struck out eight times.

Mt. Pulaski drops to 19-9 overall. They will host Argenta-Oreana on Wednesday.
