Rogelio Flores, 26, Champaign, was issued a Citation for Speeding (75mph in a 55mph Zone).  Flores was given a Notice to Appear and released.

On 04/13 at 1253, Ruby Collins was driving northbound on US 51.  Patricia Hursh was stopped at US 51 preparing to turn left onto Business US 51.  Hursh  attempted to cross northbound lanes of US 51.  Hursh did not see Collins and attempted to swerve away from Collins’ path of travel.  Hursh ultimately collided with the driver’s side of Collins’ vehicle, causing moderate damage.  Both drivers refused medical treatment.  Gary’s Towing was summoned to the scene for Collins’ vehicle and Hursh’s vehicle was driven from the scene to Kathy’s Collision Center.  Patricia Hursh, 79, Heyworth, was issued a Citation for Failure to Yield – Turning Left.  Ruby Collins, 49, Bloomington was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended.  Collins was released after booking with a Notice to Appear.

Michael Glidden, 59, Clinton, was arrested and charged with Contempt of Court, Driving on a Suspended License and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  Glidden was released after booking with a Notice to Appear.

Bobby Wright Jr., 42, Clinton, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant and charged with Contempt of Court.  Wright was unable to post the necessary bond and remains incarcerated.

Marquita Boyd, 20, Lebanon, was arrested and charged with Driving on a Suspended License.  Boyd was released after booking with a Notice to Appear.

Timothy Schultz, 31, Clinton, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant and charged with Domestic Battery.  Schultz posted the necessary bond and was released.

On 04/13 at 1253, Deborah Brady was driving northbound on US 51.  Jerry Olden attempted to cross northbound lanes of US 51.  Brady did not see Olden and the vehicles collided.  Both vehicles sustained damage.  Gary’s towing was summoned to the scene.  Jerry Olden, 71, Tolono was issued a Citation for Failure to Yield Right of Way.

Emily Bishop, 21, Aurora, was issued Citations for Possession of Cannabis; Not More than 10 Grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Speeding (80mph in a 65mph Zone).  Bishop was given a Notice to Appear and released.

Rebecca Knowles, 29, Lincoln, was issued Citations for Expired Registration and Speeding (83mph in a 65mph Zone).  Knowles was given a Notice to Appear and released.
