On 04/30/21 Clinton Police arrested Stacy L. Lane 44, Clinton for Criminal Trespass to Property. Lane was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 05/01/21 Clinton Police arrested Nick Shepherd 52, Clinton for Burglary, Criminal Trespass to Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer. Shepherd was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 05/02/21 Clinton Police arrested Jessica N. Paxton 39, Clinton for Endangering Life/Health of a Child. Paxton was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 05/02/21 Clinton Police investigated a personal injury accident at Elm & Johnson. A vehicle driven by Austin T. Whitehouse 21, Clinton was northbound on Mulberry Street approaching Johnson. Whitehouse turned onto Johnson St onto the wrong side of the road and left the roadway and struck a pedestrian, Angela L. Houston, Clinton. Whitehouse then returned to the road and left the road again and struck a power pole near Elm & Johnson causing the pole to snap. Whitehouse was issued citations for Disobeyed Stop Sign, Driving in the Wrong Lane, Aggravated Reckless Driving, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Leaving the scene of a Personal Injury Accident, No Seat Belt and No Valid Drivers License. Whitehouse and Houston were transported to John Warner Hospital for treatment.
