On 09/30/22 Clinton Police arrested Bryan L. Humes 41, Wapella for No Lights when Required, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a B.A.C. greater than .08, and Possession of Cannabis. Humes was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 10/01/22 Clinton Police investigated a Property Damage Hit & Run Accident that occurred in the alley in the 300 block N. Mulberry. Clinton Police located 2 utility poles and a trailer that had been struck and the vehicle left the scene. Clinton Police located and arrested Robert C. Shadoan 40, Clinton for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a B.A.C. greater than .08. Shadoan was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.
