DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office Arrest and Citation Reports 6-28-24 to 7-5-2024

Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at 1604 on 6/28/24 revealed that Kerry Hood, 53, Warrensburg, was traveling southbound on Johnston St., approaching the intersection of State Highway 54. Tristan Dilley, 28, Mount Pulaski, was traveling in the same direction. Hood stated she stopped at the stop sign and was rear ended by Dilley. Hood sustained damage to the rear passenger side bumper, and tailgate. Dilley stated Hood hit the brakes at the stop sign, let off the brakes, and then hit the brake again once until she began to move forward. This action caused Dilley to collide with the rear end of Hood. Dilley sustained damage to the front driver side bumper and hood. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. Dilley was issued a Citation for Failure to Reduce Speed/Accident. Dilley was released with No Required Court Appearance.
Bryson Mock-Williams, 20, Clinton, was Arrested and issued Citations for 2 Counts of Driving Under Influence; One Court of Driving Under Influence Over .08; Illegal Consumption Under 21 Years of Age; and Illegal Transportation or Possession of Alcoholic Liquor-Driver. Mock-Williams was released with a Required Court Appearance.
Juamuar Pitt, 26, Rockford, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with Driving on Suspended License. Pitt was released with a Required Court Appearance.
Nadia Kessling, 21, Henry, was issued a Citation for Speeding (85 mph in 65 mph zone). Kessling was released with no Required Court Appearance.
Victoria Varela, 35, Clinton, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging her with Receive/Poss/Sell Stolen Veh/FTA/PTR. Varela being unable to post the necessary bond, remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.
