The latest high school football top 10 rankings were released Tuesday night.

In Class 2A where Fieldcrest took over number one two weeks ago, things remain largely unchanged. Fieldcrest, Clifton Central, Maroa-Forsyth and GCMS come in at 1 through 4 while Decatur St. Teresa enter the top 5 after a big win over Clinton Friday night.

Knoxville, Newman Central Catholic, Bismarck-Henning are 6 through 8 and Auburn and West Carroll enter the top 10 at nine and ten, respectively.

In Class 1A, Lena-Winslow and Forreston come in at a tie atop the rankings while Central A&M comes ranked third. Anawan-Weathersfield, Morrison, Ottawa Marquette, and Aquin come 4 through 7. The top seven in 1A are all undefeated. Camp Point Central, Athens and Hope Academy round out the top 10.

In Class 3A, 1-4 remains unchanged this week, with Wilmington topping the rankings followed by Williamsville, Byron, and Beardstown. Vandalia and Nashville flip at 5-6. Fairfield and Pana hold their positions and 7-8 and Princeton and Eureka flip place at 9-10 in 3A.

IC Catholic tops the 4A standings and 1-5 remains unchanged with Rochester, Coal City, Richmond-Burton and Stillman Valley falling in. Mt. Zion moved up the rankings to No. 6 followed by Columbia, Effingham, St. Francis and Genoa-Kingston. IVC dropped out of the top 10 in 4A this week despite clinching the Illini Prairie Conference this week.

East St. Louis remains atop the 5A rankings.

In 6A, Chatham-Glenwood remains atop the rankings while Crete-Monee holds at No. 2. The rest of 6A saw a shakeup from top to bottom, as Normal West remains ranked, coming in at No. 10 despite a loss to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard this past week in Indianapolis.

In 7A, Chicago Mt. Carmel holds at No. 1 and Lincoln-Way East received all 11 first-place votes in 8A.
