On 07/14/23 Clinton Police arrested Jason L. Rempe 42, Wapella for Driving While License Suspended, No Valid Registration and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Rempe was released with a Notice to Appear in court.

On 07/15/23 Clinton Police investigated a Hit & Run accident in the 200 block S. Taylor. A vehicle was southbound on Taylor St and left the roadway colliding with a front porch and the vehicle landed on its top. Clinton Police located and arrested Rudolfo A. Sarinana 33, Clinton for Reckless Driving, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Failure to Give Information, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Possession of Cannabis Outside approved Container. Sarinana was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.
