Sierra A. Wegrich 28, Chestnut Operating Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration for non-insurance, and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Notice to Appear issued.

On 08/18/23 Clinton Police arrested Walker L. Sturgeon 27, Clinton on a Macon County Warrant. Sturgeon was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 08/18/23 Clinton Police arrested Chad R. Palmer 47, Clinton for Driving while License Revoked, Driving Under the Influence, Driving Under the Influence with a B.A.C greater than .08, and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Palmer was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 08/19/23 Clinton Police arrested David S. Cox 38, Clinton and Michelle R. Russell 36, Clinton for Domestic Battery. Cox was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections. Russell was transported to be treated for injuries and was released on a Notice to Appear in court.

On 08/20/23 Clinton Police arrested Jesse R. Smith 34, Farmer City for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Smith was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

Vanessa Vincent, 22, Fisher, was issued a Citation for Failure to Reduce Speed/Accident.  Vincent was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Preston Bettinger, 18, Monticello, was issued a Citation for Speeding (78 mph in a 55 mph zone).  Bettinger was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Izac Graves, 19, Clinton, was issued a Citation for Speeding (74 in 45 mph zone).  Graves was given a Notice to Appear.

Montina Meeks, 43, Decatur, was issued a Citation for Speeding (75 mph in a 55 mph zone).  Meeks was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Michael Herald, 32, Clinton, was arrested on a Dewitt County Warrant charging him with Speeding 26-34 MPH over limit/FTA.  Herald posted the necessary bond and was released.

Brian Peavler, 49, Clinton, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with DRVG Under Influ of Alcohol.  Peavler posted the necessary bond and was released.
