DeWittDailyNews.com welcomes letters to the editor, as a way we can let our readers and listeners sound off on the issues most important to them. If you wish to submit a letter, please note the following guidelines:

All letters should be no more than 500 words in length, and should include the writer's name, address and phone number. We will not publish street address, e-mail address or phone number; rather, we reserve the right to contact writers to determine their validity.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Editor:

I have known Aaron for a long time and he has been knowledgeable individual and is willing to jump in and help out whenever he can. I can’t keep track of all the community organizations he has been a part of, or how often he has volunteered for this or another, I just know he is involved in the community all the time.

When Sal told me he was considering running for County Board I was excited because I know that he will dig in and give everything make DeWitt County a better place, and not be afraid to ask why are we doing this. My family and I grew up in DeWitt County and even though my husband and I live just to the north in Normal, we still consider this our home and have many friends and family living there, and because I this I want see Aaron Kammeyer elected to the County Board.
