The Logan County Fair is underway in Lincoln, bringing a full week of livestock shows, youth project displays, and traditional county fair and grandstand entertainment.
Reagen Tibbs, Commercial Ag Educator at the University of Illinois Extension in Logan County, explains the general projects show starts Monday morning, featuring entries from Logan County alongside guest exhibitors from Sangamon and Menard counties. Livestock judging begins Tuesday with the rabbit show, followed by swine and goats on Wednesday, and beef and sheep shows on Thursday.
In addition to traditional judging, Wednesday night features the long-standing 4-H scramble in the grandstands, along with recognition of graduating 4-H seniors. The week concludes on Sunday with the annual youth livestock auction.
