A local state park foundation is inviting the community out to learn about how they can support the park.
Patti Kinder with the Weldon Springs Foundation told the Hart Media Group on the WHOW Morning Show Thursday that community members are invited to the Schoolhouse this Sunday at 10:00 AM to participate in the Rooted in Nature event and learn about the Foundation and how you can help.
Two drawings will be hosted at the event. Kinder says you can enter your name for a children's and/or adult prize basket to be drawn on Sunday night.
The Rooted in Nature event takes place at the Weldon Springs Schoolhouse from 10 AM to 2 PM this Sunday. Learn more by finding the foundation on Facebook or visiting wsfil.org.
