Head Start in DeWitt County is looking for vital staff for its program. 

Krissy Conklen with Community Action's Head Start program explains that in DeWitt County, they are looking for a new Family Educator who will help prepare families at home to get their students ready for the school setting. This puts a focus on the PAT, or Parents As Teachers, curriculum.

In Lincoln, Conlken states that they are looking for candidates with at least a bachelor's degree in early childhood education to be Head Start Teachers. This is a year-round in-classroom role. 

Head Start is looking to fill a long-standing management vacancy related to mental health and disability challenges. This person would help develop standards that address the ever-evolving social and emotional needs of students.
