Cassidee Stoffel and Madison Highland combined on a one-hit, 10-0 shutout of Tuscola on Tuesday in non-conference high school softball action in Monticello.

Isabella Beery scored Sadie Walsh on a sac-fly in the bottom of the sixth inning to end the game on the run-rule.

Walsh tripled twice and drove in a run among her three hits. Stoffel was 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Beery drove in three runs and was 2-for-3 with a double. Ali Weidner was 2-for-3 with a double and a run driven in for the Lady Sages. Highland also drove in two.

Stoffel struck out four in five one-hit innings. Highland had a strikeout in a 1-2-3 inning of relief.
