Monticello made easy work of Decatur Eisenhower, 18-1 in non-conference high school softball action on Friday in Monticello.
Meadow Miller drove in a game-best five runs to lead the Monticello onslaught. Cassidee Stoffel drove in three and was 2-for-3. Isabella Beery was 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Ali Weidner was 2-for-2 with a triple and two runs batted in, while Reese Stiger added an RBI double. Thea Key and Annie Robinson also drove in runs for the Lady Sages.
Madison Highland allowed a run on a hit and struck out seven in her four innings of work.
Monticello goes to 6-2 and will host Charleston on Saturday.
